According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, roadway transportation incidents account for more fatal workplace fatalities each year than any other cause. LWCC’s interactive virtual driver simulation tool allows employees to experience behind the wheel situations without being on the road.
Sample Drug-Free Workplace Policy
Do you have a written drug and alcohol policy for your organization to address accidents and intoxication? Louisiana law provides an employer the right to require employees to submit to drug testing if they are injured on the job. Case law exists that the presumptions do not apply unless an employer has a written and promulgated drug policy.
