30 Years of Success
Since our first policy in 1992, we have succeeded in the marketplace by having a strong working relationship with agents. Together we wrote over 50% of the market in our first year of operation. Today we serve approximately 20,000 Louisiana businesses and have not stopped providing safety, security, and stability.
“When LWCC was created, the workers’ comp market was in turmoil,” says Tensey Pricer, LWCC Agency Relations Manager. “From day one, LWCC started repairing the broken market by working with agents to provide timely quoting and binding of coverage. Today, agents still talk about how LWCC impacted the market.”
A Sincere Thanks
As LWCC moves into our 30th year of operation, we are taking a moment to thank our valued agent partners. We appreciate the integral role they play in Louisiana Loyal, a movement to celebrate and elevate Louisiana.
While it is near impossible to show our full appreciation, we are giving it a try. Starting in November 2021, we have a few things planned to celebrate our collective success and opportunities to elevate Louisiana together.
These opportunities feature the following, along with much more:
- The kickoff of our Speaker Series at the Foster Learning Center with Billy Beane, MLB executive and subject of the bestselling book and Oscar nominated film, and benefitting the Kids’ Chance Scholarship Fund
- A Holiday Giving Contest allowing agents to support nonprofits working to elevate Louisiana
- New customer experience improvements such as a new lwcc.com and CompZone+, along with dedicated training and education on each
- A new producer conference to support those new to workers’ comp

Our Agency Relations Team is a dedicated resource available to agents year-round that provides the tools and information needed to streamline doing business with LWCC. This team can assist with every task, but also helps play a critical role in allowing our agent partners to be able to compete against other direct writers and provide innovative ways to enhance policyholders’ experiences. And that’s a big win for everyone!
