Support from the LWCC Foundation’s Louisiana Well Again: COVID-19 Response Program, allowed the hospital to create a unique place of respite for hospital employees

With the help of grant money from the LWCC Foundation’s Louisiana Well Again: COVID-19 Response Program, the hospital worked with Sysco to provide turkeys for the entire hospital staff.

With the help of grant money from the LWCC Foundation’s Louisiana Well Again: COVID-19 Response Program and other community donors, Baton Rouge General was able to respond to the needs of the hospital during the height of the pandemic.

Our entire LWCC family, including our Board of Directors, management, and employees, owe a debt of gratitude and offer thanks and appreciation to Governor Murphy J. “Mike” Foster, Jr. for his steadfast commitment and many years of support and service.

The timing could not have been better for Union General Hospital when it learned earlier this summer that it was one of 24 hospitals to receive a LWCC Foundation grant in support of COVID-19 frontline healthcare workers.
